USB 3.0 will be 10 times faster!

Imagine connecting your 10-megapixel camera to your PC using the USB cable and downloading your high resolution pictures in a minute! Intel and other companies are working on the USB 3.0 standard which makes this a reality. The current USB 2.0 which we all use limits the data transfer speed to 480 Mbps. The USB 3.0 has data transfer speeds of up to 4.8 Gbps which is literally ten times faster. Wow! That is amazing. These days, with the USB flash drives with large storage space, it helps to be able to download your files to your PC or upload from your PC in super highspeed. Compare this to the serial cable we all used to use a few years back. We have come a long way since!
Don’t go running to your Circuit City or Best Buy asking for one. These will be on the market towards the end of this year or early 2009.
