Learn the Science of Life from the Science of Getting Rich

Recently, I came across a very good book titled ‘Science of Getting Rich’ by Wallace D. Wattles which enlightened me as a person and led me to think of my general life. As a person, I have always believed in God and I always felt there is a supreme being somewhere up above the world so high and he/she is always there to protect us from any calamity or wipe away our tears when we need him/her the most.

However, after reading the “Science of Getting Rich” (SOGR is just a 65 page book, available on google search to be downloaded a pdf document, for FREE), I had a different feeling about myself and the thoughts that I have carried with me for the past so many years. I have come to realize that we are the ones who decide everything about ourselves. Everything depends on what
we believe in or the conviction, faith that we have within ourselves. If we have the faith or conviction and we believe things are going to happen in a certain manner, they are bound to happen for us. It doesn’t matter which God or any other power we believe in. God is always within us which is why we don’t have to seek anyone’s help to find the God in us. As long as we remain positive and always have faith in what we believe in, good things will start to happen.

I have always followed the Oprah Winfrey show for its uniqueness, in the way she brings on special guests and digs more into why they have written their special books. One such book titled, ‘Secrets’ by Rhonda Byrne, an Australian Television writer and producer, was discussed on Oprah’s show. Hearing Rhonda discuss her thoughts on the show, I felt she also had similar opinions as discussed in SOGR.

So, my friends, its all in us to make things happen. By being positive in life, having faith and confidence in what we do or what we believe in, will transform our life in a big way.

I will close this topic with a short story about two thieves who planned to steal expensive artifacts from a place of worship. The thieves hid themselves inside the place of worship till everyone had left. After that they pilfered the place, the only way out was through the roof. So they removed the roof tiles, and one of the thieves stepped on top of the idol, people worship, and escaped. The second thief being hesitant to step on the idol, put a banana leaf and stepped on it. Both the thieves had two different results. The thief who did not mind stepping on the idol had no problems, he just went about his normal life. The other thief who was hesitant, was really scared of what they had done, had high fever due to fear of what may happen to him and died shortly.

To summarize, it’s all in us to make or break our life. Gods or Gurus or Spiritual leaders are a means to show just the right path or bring about discipline in our lives!

    This article I find well written and giving the right direction to the path to follow. This shows a universal religion and will make people think how foolish they were when they followed the path of violence , and terrorism, and killed people in the name of religion and destroyed peace in the world, where as the the god was always inside him all the time to discover.
