New option for reducing facial wrinkles

The FDA today approved a new skin tightening system called Pelleve. Pelleve is a treatment using high frequency radio waves and has been demonstrated to tighten the facial skin with just one treatment.
The results also apparently last for about six months. In the clinical trial with about 83 women and 10 men, patients given Pelleve showed immediate and measurable positive results in terms of wrinkle improvement and skin laxity. The treatment did not require anesthesia and was performed in an outpatient clinic. The treatment requires the use of a 4.0 MHz radio wave unit.
