Christopher Allport dies in a freak snowstorm

Just heard that veteran actor, Christopher Allport died in an avalanche in Southern California. The sixty year old character actor who had appeared in TV shows such as ER, Matlock was also an avid ski enthusiast. The recent snowstorms in Southern California have created freak avalanches in the San Gabriel Mountains killing two other skiers besides Mr. Allport.

Latest weather report indicates more storms are headed their way towards that region.
