Can you make money from your blog?

Not a single day goes by without each of us getting spammed with “Success” stories of people who are making millions by just setting up a blog and putting some adsense ads on it. I too dream that someday my blog will make serious money. But how much truth is there to those email claims of Internet millions. There is an interesting article I came across on Alexa that puts the typical share of advertising dollars for a blogger at about 61 cents per 1000 impressions. The article goes on to calculate how much money successful blogs like Om Malik or Daily Coyote might be making and the reality hits you. Most average blogs are not going to make any money. Do it because you love to blog or just don’t do it! That’s my thought of the day.

    Making money with Adsense it’s becoming harder and harder. Couple of years ago, Adsense program was really hot

    Nowdays, affiliate earnings are much more rewarding. More and more publishers go into CPA networks everyday. Adsense is paying penny per clicks .. Too bad .. I actually enjoyed it while it lasted.
